Okahumpka John Doe - 1992
On December 20, 1992, skeletal remains were located in a wooded area near the Florida Turnpike mile marker 293 south of Okahumpka. The remains were determined to be that of a black male, approximately 6’ tall and over 55 years old, who had died at least three years earlier. Purple polyester pants and a ball cap were located nearby. The cause and manner of death are undetermined, and the man’s identity is unknown.
