SIX ARRESTED IN CLERMONT DRUG BUST
Lake County sheriff's narcotics detectives served three search warrants in Clermont early Thursday morning as part of a two-month-long drug investigation. The investigation began when detectives received several complaints in reference to people at the locations possibly dealing drugs. Detectives developed information that led to the issuance of the search warrants for the following addresses on adjoining parcels of land in Clermont: 14604 Johns Lake Road, 14600 Johns Lake Road, and 14622 Johns Lake Road.
During the search of the homes, detectives located methamphetamine pre-packaged for sale, scales, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia items. Detectives also located a stolen motorcycle out of Orange County that was reported back in 2016, as well as several items taken in recent car burglaries that occurred in the Clermont area.
The following individuals were arrested as a result of the search warrants:
Tonya Huston-Bernoir, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia
Krystal Heusinger, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine and an active Lake County Warrant (2017 mm 005135) FTA Larc-Petit Theft
Shanna Brown, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia
Tony Eubanks, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine
Chad McDaniel, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and grand theft
Gary Brannon, charged with: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an active Lake County warrant (2017 CF 001402) for drug possession and failure to appear for driving while license suspended.
Detectives say these parties were connected and worked together in their drug dealing activities.
All subjects were transported to the lake County jail without incident.
