The Identification Section of the Lake County Sheriff's Office offers fingerprinting services for the public at our main office located at 360 W. Ruby Street in Tavares Florida. You must provide your fingerprint card and indentification with a photo and signature. Days/Hours Monday through Friday (except holidays) 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Costs This Service is FREE to residents of Lake County, your identification must reflect a Lake County address. For non-residents, the following fees apply*: Fingerprinting for Concealed Weapons Permit: $ 5.00 All Other fingerprinting: $ 25.00 *Cash Only, exact change please Electronic Fingerprints Electronic fingerprint submission is available for Concealed Weapons Permits only. For this process, you must be able to make an online payment via CWCS system for the State's fingerprint fees. We do not accept payments for the State of Florida. Note: Payment for electronic fingerprints must be made on the computer; If you do not have computer access, we do provide inked printing.
