Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 2060 - Purpose |
"TOMORROW'S LEADERS, TODAY."
The Lake County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program was established in 1989 to allow the young adults of Lake County to experience the many various aspects of a law enforcement career by working together with certified deputies and other Explorers. The Explorer Program works under direction of the Sheriff, as part of the Community Services Division. The Explorer Program is the longest serving of three volunteer divisions within the Sheriff's Office. The Explorer post operates year round, and many of our post members have five or more years of service with the Sheriff's Office. Explorer Post 2060 is a chartered organization of Learning for Life.
