Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 2060 - Activities |
The Explorer Post participates in many activities,
and community events called special details by the Sheriff's Office.
While at a detail, Explorers are responsible for traffic parking,
gate security, crowd control, and many other special assignments.
During the details, a Deputy Sheriff or Trained Associate Advisor is always present,
along with the post supervisors.
Some of the details include:
Our Explorer Post is a Member of the Florida Sheriffs' Explorer
Association, (FSEA). This assocation is made up of 35 Sheriff's Explorer
Posts from around the State. The FSEA meets 4 times per year, to train
together, share ideas, and compete in law enforcement related events. During
these delegates meetings, Explorers get a chance to make friends with other
Explorers from all over the state, go sightseeing, SCUBA diving, any many other
educational and fun events!
